OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AWAM PUBLICATIONS
Dear Dharma friends and practitioners,
We are happy to announce on the official establishment of Awam Publications under the leadership of Awam Lopen Pelden Dawa Dakpa, of Awam Chandra Kirti Ling, Perth, Australia.
Overview of the Two Publications
Awam Chandra Kirti-Ling is undertaking two major publication projects dedicated to preserving, clarifying, and transmitting the precious teachings of the Awam Lineage. These projects aim not only to safeguard rare and sacred materials but also to make them accessible to present and future practitioners.
The first publication, “The Treasure of Terton Dragngag Lingpa” (རིག་འཛིན་བླ་མའི་བསྒྲུབ་པ་དགོངས་བརྒྱུད་སྙིང་པོ་ཆིག་དྲིལ།), focuses on the profound treasures and writings connected with Terton Rigzin Dragngag Lingpa.
The second publication, “The Collective Words of H.H. Awam Maha Pandrita Khenchen Lama Rinpoche,” bring together teachings, guidance, and instructions from His Holiness.
Both works are conceived as offerings to His Holiness and as long-term supports for practitioners and scholars who rely on the Awam Lineage for study, contemplation, and practice.
Project I: “The Treasure of Terton Dragngag Lingpa”
Project I is dedicated to gathering, editing, and preparing for publication the complete set of teachings, treasures (terma), and written materials associated with Terton Rigzin Dragngag Lingpa. Because these materials constitute a vital transmission of the Awam Lineage, the project emphasizes accuracy, clarity, and faithfulness to the original sources.
Purpose and Intention:
The intention of Project I is:
* To preserve these precious teachings in a reliable, well organized, and accessible format.
* To offer practitioners a clear source for study and practice.
* To safeguard the lineage by ensuring that these materials remain available for generations to come.
* To make the publication itself an offering of devotion and service to His Holiness and to the sacred lineage of the Awam tradition.
Timeline:
Work on Project I is scheduled to begin on 21 February 2026 and will continue with steady, continuous effort until the book is ready for release on the auspicious Descending Day of Lord Buddha, 20 November 2027. Thus the total duration of Project I will span approximately one year and nine months.
Practical Implementation
The project will involve:
* Collecting all relevant scripts, texts, and related materials.
* Careful editing, cross-checking, and verification of content.
* Coordinating internally and externally to ensure consistent quality.
* Communicating with printing houses to finalize production.
The printing will be carried out in Bhutan, Nepal, or India, depending on the most suitable circumstances for quality, cost, and logistical considerations.
Awam Chandra Kirti Ling will cover all expenses related to collection, editing, checking, coordination, printing, and any smaller needs, in order to uphold and transmit the Awam Lineage without burden to others.
If the material becomes too extensive for a single book, the publication will follow His Holiness’s guidance and be divided into two volumes:
* Volume I “A” (ཨེ་)
* Volume II “Wam” (ཝཾ)
Project II: “The Collective Words of H.H. Awam Maha Pandrita Khenchen Lama Rinpoche”
Project II will gather the collected teachings, oral instructions, writings, and guidance of H.H. Awam Maha Pandrita Khenchen Lama Rinpoche. Its purpose is to offer a comprehensive and authoritative treasury of His Holiness’s words—bringing together essential instructions that have guided countless disciples.
This publication will serve as:
* A textual support for practitioners engaging in study and meditation.
* A historical preservation of His Holiness’s profound and compassionate guidance.
* A source of inspiration and clarity for future generations of the Awam Lineage.
Further details (timeline, format, printing plan, and editorial process) will be finalized in accordance with the wishes of His Holiness and the evolving needs of the project.
Conclusion
Together, these two publications represent a deep offering to the Awam lineage, safeguarding precious teachings while ensuring their accessibility for current and future disciples.
Through dedicated effort, careful editing, and devotion to maintaining the purity of these transmissions, Awam Chandra Kirti Ling seeks to uphold the legacy of Terton Dragngag Lingpa and H.H. Awam Maha Pandrita Khenchen Lama Rinpoche for generations to come.
